Your kitchen cabinets will set the tone for the rest of your kitchen. Depending on your cabinets and style, you can decide on the color for your walls and the material for the kitchen countertops. Decide on your cabinets first and then make decisions about other elements of your kitchen. The design should complement easily with the colors and the materials used.
Choosing kitchen cabinets are simply a matter of how much you can afford to spend. If you can afford to do so, always go in for custom kitchen cabinets. You have an endless variety of styles to choose from, and you can easily blend two or three styles to create the kitchen of your dreams. Materials are yours to play with and you can mix and match textures and paint colors to create a fantasy kitchen. If your budget doesn't allow for an expensive custom kitchen, choose from the number of stock options that you have. You might have a very limited range to choose from but they are more affordable. They are also easy to install as they come pre fabricated and only need to be fitted in. Another option could be a semi custom cabinet that has some elements that are prefabricated and are therefore quicker to install.
Cherry kitchen cabinets are unrivalled when it comes to giving your cabinets that look of class that sets them apart. They have warm tones, and deep hues and give your kitchen a glow that stunning to behold. They are more expensive however, and your custom kitchen cabinets can easily take a big chunk out of your kitchen remodeling budget. If your budget doesn't allow you to choose cherry kitchen cabinets, consider cheap kitchen cabinets that are made of cheaper materials like laminates. They are easy to maintain although they don't have the elegance of cherry wood.

We want to make more room in our Kitchen by taking an existing coat closet out that is next to our Refrigerator and movig a wall back 3ft into our Dining room and closing that entrance off. We also plan to tile the floor in the Kitchen and eatin Dining area and put in granite counters and tile backsplash. |
We remodeled our kitchen in 2003, complete with new cabinets, appliances, flooring and countertops. The cabinet finishes (white paint) and hardward (hinges, drawer tracks) are failing and need to be replaced. We do not need a complete overhaul and believe the boxes are just fine. We do need new doors and drawers and accompanying hardware. Thank you. |
